From the Board

On behalf of the Conway Symphony Orchestra musicians, management, and Board of Directors, welcome to our 39th season! We are so excited as well as honored to be moving to our new home in the Windgate Center this spring. It is the beginning of a new era for the CSO!

At the start of my ninth year serving on the Board, I'm honored to serve as President. I taught music in Faulkner County for 38 years, and music has always played an influential role in my life.  I'm so pleased to have the opportunity to work with the instrumental arts, talented musicians, and our devoted supporters.

Through the partnerships we have in place with different organizations, the symphony's reach extends through the business community as well as area schools, helping fans of all ages experience classical music. I am proud to be a part of an organization like the CSO that enriches the quality of place of our city through a vibrant arts and culture scene.

I invite you to review our website and learn about the many facets of the Conway Symphony Orchestra. Whether your interest is to be a season ticket holder, working with one of our committees or the Guild, or to support programming on the stage or in the classroom, there are opportunities for you to get involved and shape the legacy of the CSO.

If you have enjoyed your experience with us or would like additional information on how you can be a part of the CSO family, we would love the chance to talk with you. Feel free to visit with us at one of our upcoming performances, or contact us at symphony@conwaycorp.net. I look forward to meeting many of you throughout this coming season!

To our sponsors, thank you for your support of our organization and for investing in the richness of our community through the arts. To our audience, thank you for joining us and sharing our love for the music.

We have many exciting things to look forward to with the coming year! Come join the CSO as we provide musical experiences for the people of Central Arkansas through “Music That Connects!”

Sincerely,

Judy Harkrider, President

SUzanne Loerch

General Manager

Suzanne Loerch has been making music in Central Arkansas since arriving over 20 years ago. As a singer and voice teacher, she has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Virginia, Hendrix College and the University of Central Arkansas. She has performed with area orchestras and choruses, as well as performing in solo and chamber music recitals.
