Lorri Hambuchen has been a wine instructor with the Arkansas Culinary School since 2008 and is owner of The Wine Center, LLC. The Wine Center offers wine education to the wine professional as well as the enthusiast, and its programs emphasize industry certification obtained through The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) headquartered in London. Hambuchen writes the weekly wine column “UnCorked” for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette providing advice on the best way to shuffle through vast amounts of wines available in the market and offering an educated opinion of wine with a straightforward explanation for buying in “Value” and “Splurge” categories.
