Class: Olive Oil 101

This class will cover what makes an olive oil truly extra virgin, standards, health benefits, industry fraud, and common myths and misconceptions.  Attendees will be guided through a formal tasting of some of the best, most awarded olive oils in the world!  The class will also cover how to pair with delicious balsamic vinegars to make fantastic salad dressings, marinades, and glazes.

Nicole and David Cypert moved to Conway 19 years ago to finish a degree at UCA, fell in love with the small town feel, stayed, started a family here, and have three wonderful children, Cade, 15, and twins Carter and Claire who are 12.  Nicole always strived to cook with the best ingredients for her family and was continuously on a mission to find “clean” food without artificial preservatives and colorings. After Nicole’s sister opened Tahoe Oil and Spice in Lake Tahoe, CA, the Cyperts’ market research found that Conway might be a great place to bring similar products, and they now seek to be a positive, beneficial addition to the town they fell in love with 19 years ago!
